Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Quiet Forge's products and services (the "Service"), provided by Quiet Forge ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Account

You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. Prohibited activities include: violating laws, infringing intellectual property, uploading malware, attempting to circumvent quotas or security, or using the Service to send unsolicited communications.

3. Subscription and payment

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as stated on our pricing page. We may change prices with 30 days' notice; price changes take effect at your next renewal.

4. Trial period

New organizations receive a 14-day free trial of the Pro plan. After the trial, the organization is automatically moved to the Free plan unless a paid subscription is started.

5. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the billing portal. We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms or non-payment, with reasonable notice where practical.

6. Intellectual property

We retain all rights to the Service. You retain all rights to the data you upload ("Customer Data"). You grant us a limited license to process Customer Data solely to provide the Service.

7. Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Tallinn, Estonia, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer law.
